I wanted a somewhat fancy, nice looking OWB holster for open carrying my SR9c (open carry is legal in Georgia with a weapons license). Not many leather folks are making them for the SR9c, and lots of leather holster makers have ridiculously long waits as well. I also wanted a style I could put on and remove easily without having to remove the belt and all. So, I found a local guy that is making a name for himself and after looking at lots of his previous work and materials, and hearing reviews of him locally, went ahead and had him make me one. I went with brown leather with sharkskin accents. I am very pleased with the end product, and it took a week from the day I handed him my SR9c to the day he handed me the holster. Very nice.
