Hammer ID help

Morning,
Years ago when Ruger would still sell us parts I ordered a hammer for my SBH, they sent me this stainless steel Bisley hammer instead.

I put it in the parts box and came across it last night, I think it might be for a Single Six but it's just a guess.

Can some of ya'll school me on what it fits?

Hammer height is a good way to determine if it'll fit a Single-Six or not. I'll see if I can put a picture here from my files about what to look at.

The pics are for the OM's,, BUT,, they do show the general sizes of each hammer.

The width of the spur sure does look like a NM SBH hammer... None of my NM Single-Sixes have a wide hammer spur.

It's not a SBH hammer, but look at the 1st pic showing the "nose" with the half moon cut out, for lack of a better description.

Which gun would use a hammer with this cut out?

All new models (Left conversion, center OM, right NM)

These are blackhawks, not SBH, but similar internals.

But what about the half moon cut out on the hammer nose?

I put the above pictured hammer next to a SBH hammer, the one above is shorter and won't fit on a SBH or Blackhawk pistol, it is shorter.

That's for a Single-Six .32 Mag. The half moon cut out is to clear the firing in as it was moved up in the frame. That is a very rare hammer.

Not a "Rare Hammer" a harder to acquire hammer,,, Only because it's No longer sold thru the traditional part suppliers, Midway, Brownells, Numrich. to mention a few.

While it did come on Bisley 32H&R's it also comes on 22's & 327's, was and is still made in Carbon & Stainless. The last factory Carbon Bisley was the 327 Model 8160. Don't let that Model # fool you, it will show up as a Single 10. But I personally have a 5.5" Blued Bisley that were produced in limited #'s with a SN# that will say it's a 8160 single 10.
I always wanted a Brass Keith #5 Grip Frame Gun, this was the gun that was used for the platform, and it has the hammer as for mentioned, only in Carbon.

Same hammer here on 22 & 32 Bisleys. (22 top/ 32 bottom)

This Single Six started life as a 6.5" Stainless Bisley, 22LR only, Model 00681 (2019) and has hammer as pictured.

Now has a 10.5" 10/22 Barrel and a 22 MAGNUM Cylinder. Williams Rear Fire Sight and HiViz front. Black Hogue Micarta Grips/ highly customized. Belt Mountain #5 Basepin. Do still have the 22 LR cylinder, but not so sure I will ever use it.
My Tribute to John Taffin he had a couple of these in various configurations.
