I needed a new cylinder latch for a Security Six and Gun Parts Corp has new old stock parts available.
I placed the order and was advised that they were currently filling orders from April 11.
They were totally shut down per the edict from Cuomo !
This is not a rant only a heads up if you order parts and the wait for the parts
Another effect of government shut down.

Not Cuomo .... they're in PA.

On the up-side I placed a $45 order in mid-April. Since then I found what I needed elsewhere. They cancelled my order without problem and reversed the credit card transaction without so much as a question why.

Yeah, sad state of affairs for many businesses both large and small.

I have a receipt in front of me from "Numrich Gun Parts Corp. and the address on it is NY. Am I missing something..... it wouldn't be the first time:

226 Williams Lane
Kingston, NY 12401

My apologies ..... could of sworn it was Butler, PA.

Heck to get old.

I placed an order for a new S & W trigger on April 4...even tho I found it elsewhere for less I simply let them know I have their back, and will continue to expecially if they git the he11 out of NY..btw, delivery is due on Monday...

My parts came in 2 days early, got the K frame trigger put in my 50 year old mod 19 with just a little bit of fitting...all the parts in the package are exactly what I ordered so glad I waited...

Just my upbringing with regional prejudices.... I've never been able to figure out why they are located in New York....

Looked it up and they are a ways up the river from New York City..... they probably are thankful... every time they flush....

NY is a lot like California one end is beautiful the other end is crazy. Unfortunately the crazy people are running the state.

Blume, nice plumbing joke! Lol.

I've spent quite a few dollars there myself as I have a couple of discontinued guns and Numrich has all the parts!
Love them!

They didn't charge mine until they shipped. Maybe they were preparing his shipment at that point.

I haven't received my cc bill yet but if they charged me for something I ordered in April and recently received it should be on this months bill...good company to deal with..

Just got my VERY small order this week; I had placed it just as COVID shut everything down back around mid Mar (?) or April. Most excellent company to buy from; I've been buying from them for decades with never a problem or error. If they don't have it.......nobody does.
BTW, there original name was Numrich Gun Parts.... now (I believe) it's just Gun Parts Corp.
IMHO of course,
J.

The order I placed June 11 arrived today, July 17 5 weeks after I placed it and in the time line I was advised of when I placed the order.

Just got parts this week I ordered about 8 weeks ago. They informed me of the delay when I placed my order. Always get good service from them. Not their fault they where shut down. Won't go into that due to blood pressure issues. As far as the cost of shipping it is what it is. Everybody charges about the same for shipping. Has to be figured into the cost of the hobby.
