Are the grips for the single 10 the same size as the single six and the blackhawks and vaqueros?

Yes. All the small frame New Model Single Six series use the same and most common grip frame size; the XR3-RED size. It's also the same size as used on the standard Blackhawk, 5 1/2" and shorter Super BHs, and the old Vaquero.

It's 3/16" longer from behind the trigger guard to the front grip strap and is not the same as the XR3 size used on the New Vaquero and NM FLAT TOP Blackhawk.

Hondo is correct. He just forgot the one oddball model of the Single-Six in 32 H&R mag with the shorter gripframe.

Yes I did! The 'Vaqueritos'. And even some of those used the XR3-RED size grip frame, but only 500 each of blue and stainless. Thx.

Jim, and some of the rest of us, cannot be able to have ALL that many years of info, and "stuff" floating around in our heads to even 'think' about, let alone tell your fingers to try and type it out on the key board..........thanks to some who do "pay attention", remind or correct us, but at least keep it "civil" 8) :roll: :wink:
