Grandson's first deer

My 8-yr old grandson, Lane, with his first deer, killed Tuesday evening. He made the shot totally unassisted, dad was watching through the binoculars. 184 yards by rangefinder, dropped her in her tracks with one of pop's (that's me) .243 handloads. Good job, Lane!

I've shown Lane all the positive comments from my friends on Ruger forum. He was pleased. He was also ready to go hunting again the next day; which I thought a good sign.
