GPNY grips?

Hey guys. I'm busy accumulating parts for my new GP and I'm wondering about the grips that were used on the GPNY version. They look like the regular small grips but with plastic inserts instead of wood. Is that what they are, or are they an actual one piece grip without inserts? Anybody know where I caould find some, or at least the palstic panels assuming thats what they use?

The plastic panels are the same as the SP-101 plastic panels.
The inserts for the compact rubber GP-100 grip and the SP-101 grips are the same and are interchangeable. I believe the issued grip for the NYC GP100 was as your picure shows.

The GP-100 compact grips have been available at Brownells. The inserts show up from time to time on e-bay. In a pinch, just buy a used SP-101 grip and swap out the panels.
