I have 3 Ruger GP100 Stainless Steel 3" Wiley Clapp revolvers. I understand that there were only 2000 made but I see lots of them listed on gunbroker.com and a few in gun shops in my area. I find it hard to believe that only 2000 Total were made. Knowing how many Ruger Collectors there are I suspect if there were only 2,000 made then you would not see so many for sale. Priced around $675.00 they are a decent buy given the cool factor and excellent looks. I am only talking about the Stainless versions not the blued ones. Did they make more then 2,000 of these guns or am I off base? Happy New Year!!! Tom

My local gun shop has not had a SS Willy Clap in a while. He still has 2 of the Blued ones. I have been really surprised that they have not been sold by now.

We started shooting ICORE at our Range. We picked up several NEW revolver shooters when we started shooting a Revolver ONLY Match. My brother has a Willy Clapp SS that we ran by to see Ron Power at Power Custom. Ron did his Power Custom Combat package to it. After handeling my brothers Willy Clapp my local dealer sold 6 or 7 I can think of to our ICORE revolver shooters.

I now have 7 Stainless GP100 Wiley Clapp GP100 revolvers. Putting 2 away for each of my kids hoping they will have a son to give one to someday. I think there were way over 2,000 made given the price is staying around the 675.00 range and there are no shortages of them listed on gunbroker.com for sale. Great accuracy I have found at 40 yards and less with 158gr JSP ammo.

What a great Dad! My father left me a closet full of Old Spice and Brut by Faberge that us kids gave him every Fathers Day.
