gp100 problem

I have a Rugar gp100. I put about 300 rounds though it and have the cylinder slot look blowen out. After looking at this it appears that there is not enough steel Anybody else have this problem. I was shooting 38 not even the 357.

Not sure I’ve ever heard of someone thinking a GP doesn’t have enough steel.
Can you post a pic or two.,
I’m not sure what a “cylinder slot look” is.

First post, with a question. No problem.
Spelling & poor explanation of the problem caused us to ask more questions so we might could help.
No response so far.
Makes me wonder???

montana mike,, we'd be GLAD to offer help or information if we have good information. Pictures help a lot. But proper terminology is what we also need if pictures aren't available.
Both are even better.

montana mike, welcome to the forum. We are happy to help any Ruger owner (or prospective owner) with any problem they may be having but we really need either photos of the problem or a very, very good word picture.
