GP100 barrel rollmarks

I have quite a few GP100's but only two at my fingertips. I was handling them yesterday and noticed that one had Ruger GP100 followed by a small circled "R", and the other has the same except it is followed by a small circled "P". Who know, maybe my other GP100's have different letters as well but they aren't handy right now. Does anyone know what the rollmark letters mean?

Most likely both were "R" but the roll mark wasn't completed and appeared to be a "P". Not sure of what the roll mark means but they all have the "R".

Thanks. I bet that's exactly it and if every one is "R" then I'm thinking it's probably something like "Registered Trademark". What's kind of ironic is that I collect coins and something like this often makes a coin very valuable - but of course that never happens to me!

Also on the frame by the Ruger logo and on the billboard side
