GP 100 value

Well, I'm no expert, but price should be determined by its value to you and the condition of the revolver.

Theres an excellent thread on checking out a used revolver here:

Off hand I'd say $300 - $450 for one in good condition.

Also you don't say what model. 6", 4", or ??

I just watched a high gloss 4" go for 475! Of course I have only seen 2 of those in my short "Ruger life".

Check gunbroker and compare. Good luck.

It sounds like he is about $50 high and you're about $50 - $75 low if its in clean shape. If its rough, then I understand $350.

Remember, whaqt he buys for wholesale, he has to sell for retail to stay in business. If he sells too low, he he cant make a buck and then he's gone and you have no choice but the auctions or new.

Offer him $375 cash and see what he says. Ruger is still making them so he may have wiggle room depending on what he paid for it but dont be surprised if he says no. Have $400 cash in your wallet in case of that.

IT is a private party so I don't know what he paid as he is not the original owner so I guess $400.00 in good shape is a fair price for both parties
