Will a GP 100 barrel fit a SP101?

Thanks. I saw a 4" barrel for sale(GP 100) and thought I would buy it for my SP 101 38/357 if it fit for a little longer barrel. Different threads I imagine.
I suppose a willing gunsmith could take on the task but the cost would probably be more than the revolver. Difference in frame size, locking, thread pitch and balance I would imagine.
