My brother sent us some Omaha Steaks for Christmas. However, they were delivered to a house with the same street number but about 8 blocks 8 way. the wife got a text (From the delivery information on the box) and told her about the the error.

Nice to know we have people like that around us.

I get surprised as well, from time to time. There still are some truly good people out there!

I regularly get packages for a guy who lives about three miles away. I have him on speed dial. In 20 years, we've only had one face to face conversation. I also get people at my house looking for him so I have maps printed.

When we first got married there was a retired couple down the street. Same first and last names (both of us) and the street number which was very similar a9e digits with one of the 2 digits off). The only thing was he skipped out on a lot of debt when he left New York and or credit reports got shuffled together. Nice people but wow what a mess. We fund out when we got a collection letter from a hospital. I thought my wife had fallen at work, finally after looking a second time we found out it was the folks down the street.

Confession is good for the soul. I'm glad the delivery person only missed us by 8 blocks.
