Anyone know if the Girsan line of 1911's have a series 70 or 80 style of firing pin. Looking at the 10mm 1911s Hunter. Nothing I've seen online addresses this issue.
Because I thought someone here in this 1911 forum might be familiar with them and since most companies aren't open on Saturday I'd give it a shot. Maybe get an answer sooner than later. Why not contact the importer - EAA at www.eaacorp.com
Sent out an email this morning. I will see if I get any answers. Thanks. I will put off purchase until I have more information.Having never heard of this brand I looked them up on the old innerweb. Couldn't find them saying anything about what series but this is their contact info.

They have the Series 70 firing pins.
I have two. I'm fond of them . The .45 has a great trigger. The 9mm is almost as good. I like everything but the sights. But, I'm 66 with trifocals, there's that!
Get the model with the Novak style sights!
I've got a Taylor&Co 10mm ordered. It's an Armscor mfg slide and frame...
Cool. I saw that deal but I didn't want a 10mm. Now I'm thinking I should have jumped on it. I hope you enjoy your new pistol.I recently bought a Taylor's 10 mm from PSA for $379. The gun is put together very well, has zero looseness anywhere, a pretty crisp 5# trigger, was accurate at 25 yards with reman'd 230 ball with zero malfunctions with 75 rounds fired. A real bargains IMO.
