Anyone know if the Girsan line of 1911's have a series 70 or 80 style of firing pin. Looking at the 10mm 1911s Hunter. Nothing I've seen online addresses this issue.

Having never heard of this brand I looked them up on the old innerweb. Couldn't find them saying anything about what series but this is their contact info.

I wouldn't bother calling Turkey for an answer on this. I'd bet someone has done a review on them here with the info you seek. FWIW, I seem to remember from my research that the Tisas 1911s are series 70 and the Girsan models may be built in the same plant.

AFAIK; they are made at the same place as the Tisas.
They have the Series 70 firing pins.
I have two. I'm fond of them . The .45 has a great trigger. The 9mm is almost as good. I like everything but the sights. But, I'm 66 with trifocals, there's that!
Get the model with the Novak style sights!
I've got a Taylor&Co 10mm ordered. It's an Armscor mfg slide and frame...

I wont be buying one but I had seen the Taylors & Co. PSA has them for $429.99 I believe. They are made by Armscor (RIA).

I recently bought a Taylor's 10 mm from PSA for $379. The gun is put together very well, has zero looseness anywhere, a pretty crisp 5# trigger, was accurate at 25 yards with reman'd 230 ball with zero malfunctions with 75 rounds fired. A real bargains IMO.

Cool. I saw that deal but I didn't want a 10mm. Now I'm thinking I should have jumped on it. I hope you enjoy your new pistol.
