Getcha some "Ace tone"...

I watched a vid on YT about removing the potting from a cdi (capacitive discharge ignition) box from a motorcycle. He said soak it in a container of "ace tone" (acetone) to loosen the potting material covering the circuit board.

I'm working on a 1978 7.5hp Mercury o/b with cdi and no spark to the plugs. There are some helpful vids...theory,test boxes and similar stuff.
