Hi,

Just caught a news blip that former President George H. W. Bush passed away a short time ago, Friday evening, November 30, according to a statement by his son, former President George W. Bush. He was 94. Few other details have been given yet. Thank you for your many kinds of service you gave this country and may you now rest in peace with your beloved Barbara, Mr. Bush.

Last of the "Greatest Generation" presidents. The rest have been Baby Boomers. And I shudder to think what will follow them. :?

I thank him for his service and heroism in WWII but that is where my respect for him ends. Many in the MSM are quoting him for his famous 3 words, "Read my lips...". I remember the 3 words that aren't getting much coverage in the MSM, "New world order". This reveals to me what he really was, a "globalist" that looks at America as not exceptional and just another country in the "global" community. This ignores the fact that America is the only country founded on the concept of the inalienable rights of individual citizens. His sons are of the same opinion as he was and they also get no respect from me. These people have no interest in making America great and would have no problem in Americans living in grass huts in order to implement their "global" agenda. I realize that it is politically incorrect to speak ill of the deceased but the truth is the truth.

I didn't always agree with his politics but he was a solid guy. Barbara was a sweet lady. I just learned that he had a 3 year old daughter who died many years ago. Glad to hear they're together again. RIP Mister President.

When he confessed he voted for Hillary in 16 , his true colors were shown, just another swamp critter

And something many folks don't remember, he not only banned the importation of "assault weapons" by executive order, he also resigned his Life Membership in the NRA.

Not surprising 41 and Bill Clinton became good friends after they both retired. Too bad about the "read my lips" statement. His failure to live up to that was the main reason I voted against him. Clinton was a creep but now knew just how much at that point.
