RIP; David Tubb

I just found out that renown rifle marksman champion David Tubb passed away on July 2nd. Apparently from complications of a surgery.

The shooting world has lost another giant.

Yes, later in his shooting career, he was selling stuff. Mostly geared to match shooting.

I don't know the time frame, but David age 71 went in for a knee replacement. Got an infection that they couldn't seem to stop & it started attacking his organs. When his kidneys shut down they had to hook him to life support. After a period of time with no hope the family pulled the plug.

Very sad & so ironic that it simply must have been his time to go for lack of better terms, when ya die from a knee replacement.

Infection such a big player back in the health of injured folks in the 1800's & westerns played on this many times. But it still seems like they don't have a handle on it.

It seems that nowadays, the drs. and hospitals kill you faster than they used to.
RIP Mr. Tubb.... IIRC I used your fire-lapping bullets, so.......THANKS.
