I have an entire case of "Tabletop Grills" in the garage that she bought because they were only $1 each.
We have plenty of that! I don't eat it either lolVegimite. But, she grew up in Australia.

That's the crap that's left over in the bottom of the brewery vat. Yeast extract and a crap ton of salt. It looks like tar.
It's the world's greatest source of vitamin B12. It was created for the Australian military and it never freaking goes bad.
Every so often, like in a blue moon, I'll have a piece of Vegemite toast. That satisfies my requirement for a while
I don't ask what my wife buys, I just put the boxes in the house. It probably wouldn't make sense to me anyway...
I accidentally bought 2 at auction a few months ago (intended on just one). Got them both for less than the cost of one of them on Amazon, so decided to keep both since they're cheap Chinese junk and I figure not a long lifespan.My wife bought a cute little battery-operated chain saw. It's a 4" cut, one-hand unit with a pivoting guard over the top of the chain/bar that allows cut-thru of sizeable stuff safely. Came in a nice plastic hinged case, and includes a spare battery, a battery charger, and a spare chain. It's the handiest darn thing I've seen lately, and I use it a lot.:ROFLMAO:
I've used one a fair bit when all I have to cut is some small stuff.
Particularly convenient because they use Milwaukee M18 batteries.
They also make versions for DeWalt and Ryobi batteries.

While entering debits into the register yesterday I asked my wife about the $27.93 she spent with "FIFTYFIFTY BOTTLES". Kinda wished I didn't ask because the dollar amount wasn't an issue until I found out what it was for. She had a tough time explaining to me how sports bottle straws, silicon lid seals, and a couple assorted clearance items from the "cup making company" were a great buy at $30 rounded. I guess she has to keep her fleet of workout water bottles operating at peak performance somehow.

My wife is way ahead on shoes. Hasn't worn a pair out in decades, too many to choose from. But I am up to seven pairs of golf shoes so I say nothing.

Years ago I bought a 1970 corvette roadster in Florida. I called a transport company to ship it to Washington state and was told it would take a week. So we decided to go spend a week in our condo in Cobo Town in Baja Mexico. By the end of the week a hurricane came in and we got stuck down there. The transport company called that Friday to deliver the car I told them I was stuck in Mexico and didn't know when I could get home so we had our son meet them at the house to take delivery. He parked it on her side of the garage. Being my shop was already full of cars. After a while the wife was tired of parking outside so she started looking at car lifts. After research she found a couple and asked what one I thought was best. So she ordered a 4 post lift and had it installed so I could stack the cars and she could get her car back in the garage. Love it when a plan comes together. Hahaha
My wife was with me when I bought an aluminum 36" pipe wrench. She asked, in her most serious mode, don't you already have one. Without saying a word I handed her a steel one (actually set it down and told her to lift it. Then did the same with the aluminum one.
That was just about the last time she spoke out about a tool purchase. I now have two of every size up to 36" in steel and aluminum. One each steel 36", aluminum 36" and an aluminum 48".
Being retired I doubt I will ever use any of the steel wrenches or anything larger than 24". But one just never knows.

My wife buys candles and lots of clothes and shoes I don’t question it at all . She doesn’t ask me anything about my gun purchases

I have to be cagey with my purchases, as my wife is the frugal one in our household. She has a crap-load of clothes and shoes, but she spends a lot of time in thrift stores. But she does get her nails done every other week, to the tune of about 80 bucks a pop, so I can occasionally splurge without feeling too bad.
We both do a lot of looking at an on-line auction service and recently discovered that we need to communicate better. I was bidding on a Crossman pellet gun for our grandson and lost it to a higher bidder at the last moment. Guess who that was? Our grandson now has that pellet gun.
