I like the Fox news site, as it is one of the less biased sources. It is (was) one of just a few sites I would engage with via the comments sections in the stories. Generally, I would get sporadic feedback on my comments, but got nothing for the last 2-3 weeks. So I jumped on a different browser after posting (looked to be successful) comments yesterday, including a reply to another’s comment. Lo and behold, nothing I posted showed up on the other browser.
I don’t post controversial things, but if they didn’t like what I was posting, I could understand and respect an email or other contact telling me as much. But to shadow-ban my comments is kind of sleazy. For now, I’ve moved their bookmark to the bottom of my list…. Rant over.

"Turn off all news
You will be happier"

Doing that may make you happier,, but you will be living in ignorant bliss. Until the "news" happens to you.

I'll fully agree that much of the news media is one sided, and anti-American.

But I like to be aware of what's happening around us, and as the saying goes; "Know your enemy!" They broadcast their agenda, and if you study them,, you will know their intentions.
I prefer to not live with my head stuck in the sand, ignoring the world around me.

I can't remember the last news I watched on TV. I do subscribe to the Baltimore Sun (Democrats in action) but mainly for the sports and comics. I call most of it 'bird cage liner'.

Very well put. Totally agree.

Not sure you even know who did the alleged “shadow ban”. How do you know it was Fox and not your ISP or search engine or browser?

While I agree with the sentiment, I do not watch TV news as it is mostly sensationalism. There are plenty of online news sources that I trust more. I prefer to read than be read to.

I’m not sure how much the ISP can do, but perhaps you have a valid point. I posted comments on my usual browser, I saw them in the comments sections as expected, and then all other comments except mine showed in the other browser.

I have had the same experience. I deleted my account and set up another. I'm fully functional once again.
They may just have been reacting to numerous complaints from those you intend to offend. The "rapid response " teams and sofa boys are flooding the internet sites they are philosophically opposed to.

About the only thing I see it fit for is to line the table prior to dumping a couple bushels of crabs.

Growing up my parents received both The Sun and News American. Went right to the sports, comics, and classified to find dirt bikes every Sunday after church.... listening to Casey Kasem Top 40.

Dad never touched the papers.....Mom just cut out coupons.

I've got to poke at NC FNS about his comment:

"as it is one of the less biased sources."

I understand most of y'alls conservative views and in someways can even respect them but to say FOX news is even 'less biased'. is really stretching it.... now keep in mind I also believe the other news channels are just as biased the other way... they all are driven to keep their views tuned in to watch the commercials....

And keeping a news or even the weather channel on all day long would drive me crazy... and at a cabin in the woods too?

Put the TV in a closet for a month then see if you really want to get it back out.
