I've been known to mis-place a gun or two from time to time, but never left one in a tree. So far I'm one ahead. I didn't even realize I had lost one and my son found it. Forgot I even had it. But that's what happens when you get old, I guess.
I'm currently missing a .380 I field stripped and was having a little trouble getting the slide lock back in place. I had to leave and I stuck all the parts in a tote bag. I never got back to it and it just disappeared. I've been looking for it off and on for months.
No...I really didn't leave it out there just some added video humor!
But if I am working on something in that area I have used that handy tree hole for such.
Hope you enjoyed watching though!
I had just finished some 80 yd. gong shots with my Rossi Ranch Hand using a single point sling but then had some troubles with the much closer .22 plinking shots....someday you hit it and some you don't !
