After a shelf collapsed that was holding vinyl LPs, by the way I never realized how much they weigh, I was going through the records as I was alphabetizing them and looking at the art work. And in general reminiscing about those long hair kids that are as old or older as I am or dead and maybe hair that went the way of mine now. I found 3 $100 bills in an old T Rex album. I vaguely remember putting a few bills in an album, but not where or how much. Anyway the shelf was repaired with cleats, gorilla glue and screws. As a plus I’ve repaired the old turntable and have been enjoying some of the old music. Just so you don’t think I’m a complete anachronistic guy I also have music on cassettes, Cd and digital devices. I just hate to throw it away.

Good find....reminds me of when I "found" some old Savings Bonds that I bought during my time in the Army. Never paid much attention to them as they came in, just threw em in a file cabinet, and forgot about them for many years.......$2500 is always handy.

Hi I pulled down from my attic a trunk full of albums about a month ago for one of my sons found some Beatles albums that were worth a few hundred bucks but no hundred dollar bills Hell I didn't know what a hundred dollar bill looked like back then

Glad you found it and it didn't just get thrown away at some point. Thrift store workers must find money all the time hidden in donated items.

The only down side is, it was worth a lot more when you hid it.

What? No 8 tracks?
I've still got a box of 4 tracks and a (genuine Mad Man Muntz) Blue Light to play them on. It's going in my 59 2 door Studebaker wagon. https://picclick.com/1968-Under-Dash-Mount-4-Track-MUNTZ-Blue-Light-401278696435.html

classic combo !!! :D

"BANG A GONG" cash in a T-Rex album, too cool
I found some old Zig Zag wheat straw rolling papers in a thriftstore record bin copy of Pink Floyd Umma Gumma and had a good laugh

I cleaned up my basement "drop zone" and found nearly $200 worth of parts and stuff I'd bought and promptly "lost". Gun parts, equipment parts, gloves, socks---all those things are like tossing a rock into quick sand, they just sink into invisibility.

Yep, stuff just goes into the next dimension till you don’t need it!

Which Ruger gun will that $300 go towards?!
No plans for it yet. Just setting on the work bench. More likely to go for ammo. It may be sacrilege to say it here, but I think my gun buying days are over. A lot of nice weapons around but unless I see a particular need that my present collection doesn’t meet I won’t be buying anymore.
