Came across this in few minutes ago. This was at a rehab my wife was in in upstate Massachusetts.

Then there is the actual door.

My sister in law is in a memory care facility and the exterior doors are all locked to keep the them in..... lady at the front desk will push a button to buzz you in or out.... or at night you have to find a staff member to punch in the code to get out.... I was stuck one night in there I think it was a holiday and they were short staffed and I saw this sign to the left of the locked door inside the building..... =

Love the Braille beneath the verbiage. My question is how does a blind individual even know there is a door there much less the Braille?

Ever heard of a guide dog? Maybe the dog reads braille.

Actually, the problem is that the sign is only in English.

Best sign I have ever seen, I really wish I had a photo but they weren't allowed in that facility, was a yellow "DANGER HOT DO NOT TOUCH" sign in a boiler room. In braille.

Second best. WALK/DO NOT WALK signs at the intersections in front of the Braille Institute in Los Angeles. Although I will admit, when talking signs did come available they were probably installed there first.

I edited this picture a bit, so as not to get in trouble here. The sign made me laugh, " I may be a vagrant, but I have my limits".

It's not british. First time I heard it was in basic training. And if you think about it for a minute, it should make sense...

If it helps. How would you read something on the bottom of a boot?
