Our Wednesday night service begins with the children's group present. The adults join in as the kids do the pledge of allegiance. They pledge, in order, to the American Flag, the Christian flag, and to the Bible. On the first night the children lined up with the US flag to the audience's right. I told the director afterward about the error and he thanked me as he was unaware of the protocol. Since then they have been correct in display of the flag, and even the children now know the correct way to diaplay the flag.

I had to do that (corrected the placement of the US Flag) at a Boy Scout event (prior to the event) ONCE. Then taught my grandson flag etiquette/protocol (he was not at fault at this event, the adults were) and gave him a card from the American Legion and he remembers it all.

Too bad nobody can teach DJT flag protocol. One does not autograph American Flags for whatever reason!!!
