Dawson Handcast Bullets loaned me a mould to break in. A Lee 45-230. Cast a few hundred today, sized them .452" & lubed with Carnauba Red. Loaded about 300 rounds today in 45 ACP brass with 4 grains of Promo & a Wolf primer. I'll shoot these in my Blackhawk shortly. Hope they work as I like the meplat.

That looks like a fine load. The TC bullet shape feeds great in everything I have used them in. The .357 with a TC bullet runs great in my Marlin for CAS.

That's a good looking bullet! They loaned you a mold to break in? How does that work?

I'll put a few thousand through it, get it working smooth & return it. And I have bullets. It's not that Harles can't break it in but he's spent the summer & fall on roof projects.

It's nice to have a buddy with a bullet business. Life is good.
