Finally got my hands on a SBH for the right price a few weeks ago. I had been wanting one for long while, but never had the cash at the right time. Picked this beauty up at a small local show for $350 with original numbered box 8)

Serial # puts it as an early 1976, but there's no bicentennial markings...any ideas?

That is a good price.Went to a show in Elkhart this weekend and there wasn't any Rugers that cheap.

Found this one in Kokomo. Bought it from an older gentleman that was just walking around. He said he bought it new, but was more interested in Redhawks now, so he didn't need it any longer!

just watch out for that squared trigger guard, it can bite you.

I've only fed it specials so far, but I'm sure some hot .44 mags will be fun! I'm anxious for our wonderful Indiana winter to be over so I can take her out a play around some more!
