Yeah, even though they are MIM pressed steel instead of cast steel. That's why they have the hollow areas.Two questions? My Wrangler is the 2 tone silver and black. Has anyone bead blasted the alloy receiver to Cerakote a different color? How did it hold up, especially in the lettering area? And, has anyone confirmed that the Wrangler uses the same trigger as all other Ruger single actions like the Single Six?
Got a 7.5. I put some Ruger rosewood takeoff grips on it and painted the sights. Reddish -orange on front and blackened the rear. It shot to point of aim. I am happy with it.Ruger has introduced Wrangler models with 6 1/2" & 7 1/2" barrels along with 'sheriff' models with 3 3/4" barrels without the birds head grip.
I like a longer barrel in a 22 revolver personally, YMMV.
