I may have posted this S6 before, but today it's officially done. Cleaning up the reloading room, found a box with spare gun parts. Inside I found a long forgotten about steel ejector rod housing. Got it yrs ago for an early 3 screw 41, I was going to refinish, only to find out it wouldn't fit. Still have the 41 in original, very used finish! Realizing the housing may fit the S6, I set it aside. Very tight fit, but now installed on an all-steel S6. Grip frame from a member here was installed along with a Vaquero ER, BFR rear sight, Belt Mtn pin, slotted pins and Wolff springs. Ajax stags came from a GB find and were swapped on. I always wanted a 9.5 model to make my own! Found this 2000 model on GB a few yrs ago, in the original box and everything that came with it. Never used the LR cylinder, but it shoots the Mag very well. Have about 3-400 rds thru it, since the original upgrades.
Cheers, Bill in MA

Thank you! I didn't want to put a ton of money into it, as it's mostly just a range gun. Everything was basically a parts swap, although the grip frame is slightly "proud" of the cylinder frame currently. I did find a decent leather holster for it and have carried around the woods behind the house. Surprisingly, it balances very well with the long barrel and steel grip frame, so it's easy to keep on target. Bill in MA
