I had the pleasure to work over a stainless Lipsey's Limited Edition 10mm/40S&W Blackhawk Convertible revolver, and to the astonishment of all who witnessed this, each throat in both cylinders measured a PERFECT .4025" with Meyer pin gages! This, would be a FIRST for me, in close to 2,000 cylinders done now, the majority of those belonging to Ruger single action revolvers. I just felt compelled to report this rare sighting, it isn't everyday you see one this proper from the factory! :D

Obviously that one slipped past QC. Return it to the factory so they can install two out-of-spec cylinders. Oh wait, Ruger doesn't do QC!

And somewhere, the " monkey at a keyboard" just typed a
coherent sentence.

Well, I just got around to checking my cylinders too. My .402 slid in the cylinders, while my .403 would not. I'd say I too have a "perfect" set.

Excellent! Where did you get those .357 cylinders at?
