I just got a Single Ten and went to the range yesterday. As expected, it is turning out to be a new favorite. I got it for the 4.62" barrel that I could not get with the Single Six but after shooting it I find that I really like the green fiber optic sights. So, I thought I would put them on my NM Blackhawk 45 Colt.
After searching the internet I was able to find after market fiber optic sights for Blackhawks but they were only for the pin on sights. My front sight is not pinned on. I saw various sight paints you can buy to paint the front sight but I have tried that in the past with another revolver and it was nowhere near as good as the fiber optic on my Single Ten.
Has anyone else gone through this and found a solution?
