Fancy Grips

I am not a fan of the overly engraved metal or carved rifle stocks but when it comes to pistol grips I have changed my mind . I compair overly embellished firearms to velvet Elvis paintings. Too gaudy for me. Looking for something to spiff up my single -six I have looked at fancy exotic wood grips to bone and antler. My preference is stag or elk grips but current times have put a crimp on my pocket book. At first, I must say the thought of velvet crossed my mind when I saw these grips but as I kept coming back to them in my search for grips they grew on me. Walnut and hand engraved by a gal from North Carolina I was impressed.

A little to fancy for me.... but I'm sure some would like them. They do sort of catch the eye.

Not bad, they sort of look like the ones on my SS:

OK, sort of might be stretching it. :lol:

No idea who did them, how long ago they were done and they were on it when I bought it. They did help seal the deal though.

If the price was right, I wouldn't be opposed to the ones in the link if I were to get another RSS.
