Falling gas prices.

Not gun related, sorry. Price for a gallon of regular here in S.E, Wisconsin dropped to $2.29. Sure to help everyone on a tight budget. I know state gas taxes vary greatly but was wondering what the forum members are paying in their home areas? Karl

$2.27 yesterday. Keep an eye on diesel. When that starts dropping, expect the price of ammo (and other consumables ) to go down a month or 2 later. :mrgreen:

Diesel FINALLY started going down about 2 weeks ago. It's 3.59 in northeast Wisconsin now, but it hung on at about 4 bucks for a long time while gas was dropping every couple days. Why?

The spread between Gas and Diesel is still way to much.
Close to $1.00 a Gal. here. Before the oil drop it was $.20-.30.
It should be close to the same price.
Gas here is $2.05-20

Probably because diesel and home heating oil are a similar product and the demand is high for heating oil.

The thing that is PIZZING me off is the 20 CENT SPREAD between Regular and the Mid- grade, plus another 15 to 20 cent spread between mid-grade and Premium.
It use to be a couple of TEN CENT steps and you can't convince me that the cost of upgrading has DOUBLED.

I saw a couple of Shell stations at $2.339 today, I go to Walmart to get the best deal. Just paid $2.269 to fill up just a few minutes ago. Way better than it was. Taking a trip in March hoping it's under $2.00 by then.

Back when it was warm I stopped to put gas in my Harley. Pulled into a station with the lowest price for regular showin on their sign. I use premium so I just stuck the hose in and started pumpin........THEN looked at the price. :shock: It was almost 70 cents higher than regular. :?

When you shop at Fry's they give you money off gas depending how much you spend when you shop there.
Yesterday I got gas for $1.47 a gallon.

Yeah, But I KNOW you can cheat and run down the road a few miles to SOUTH Carolina where the gasoline is MUCH MUCH cheaper!!
