What is the factory acceptable amount of endshake that can routinely be found in new or like new GP-100 or security six revolvers? I have a number of these revolvers that I purchased new and used and even the new ones have varying degrees of cylinder endshake. I have used endshake bearings purchased from Brownells to take up the worst cases of cylinder endshake; usually one .002" thick bearing is enough to do the job. Just wondering what would the factory consider OK in a new gun?
