Ejector Rod Housing

Have a look at this ejector rod housing on the top in this pic. I dug it out of a junk parts box at a gun show a few months ago. Now I am thinking I should have left it in the box as It is not what I thought. It is steel, off set, but longer than the Blackhawk, Single - Six housing. Also the foward end of the slot is opened a bit in width. Maybe for a Colt or Great Western ? Help...

Yep, Colt or copy. It looks just like the one on my Uberti Cattleman.
