How much do you carry on a daily basis?

GP100 - 36 oz
12 rounds ammo - 8 oz.
3" pocket knife - 4 oz.
Leather holster - 6 oz.
2x2x2 ammo carrier - 2 oz.

56 oz. or 3.5 pounds.

I don't carry a gun on a daily basis. When I do it is usually my LCRx, mexican or pocket, with 5 in the holes and a zip strip in the pocket.

I always have a folding knife on me.

So, probably 1-1/2 pounds total

That's pretty light, which is good.

When fully loaded with 230-FMJ ammo, my RIA M1911A1-FS weighs about 2-3/4 pounds, so I'd reckon that I'm at about 3 pounds or so when carrying a spare mag...Plus whatever my leather holster weighs...Maybe 3-1/4 pounds total...give or take a smidget.

My pistol with kydex holster and spare mag w/nylon pouch only weigh half that. I carry knife, multi-tool, and flashlight but don't include that in weight of SD tools.
Not significantly different vs the weight of my EDC farming stuff- flashlight, multi-tool, vise grips in leather pouch, and folding utility knife.

I like a quality leather holster and have many. But also own 2 Kydex from Gunfighters. They are far lighter weight than leather and should last a lifetime. Oh, yes they are expensive.

That’s about right for me, daily, except my gun is a 1911 .45.

I'm not about to unpack and weigh, but Sig+mag w/7 9mm+ spare mag+ 3" blade+ light+ TQ+ IBD+ wallet+ phone + car key.

As long as my Beltman belt holds everything up, including my pants, I ain't worried about it.

don't have my scale with me... but I don't carry a plastic gun... all metal... but it is of medium size and single stack .... I, as I've noted on multiple occasions, always carry an extra magazine... but neither it or the one in the gun is high capacity... just 7 or 8 rounds...

I honestly don't think much about the weigh of whatever I am carrying. My belt holds the holster and my suspenders hold up the pants.
