I'm sure all of us have heard or read something that is really stupid. I was just reading a story on coping with stress in the workplace. This is a quote from that story;

"The pandemic has been awful for everyone,
especially those that have sadly lost their life to the virus."

Really?

too many of you have drunk too much of the kool-aid and have to make everything political and divisive.......

All of us are guilty of the occasional dumb comment or statement. But a person who is supposed to be a "professional" in the media or whatever should be a LOT more careful about what they write or say in a public or professional publication.

Sadly, there has been a "dumbing down" in the public school system for so many years, that it's ignored by editors, and even superiors. Heck, it used to be a lot of folks from other countries would send their kids to school here to get an education. Nowadays,, many of these same kids arrive here with a MUCH better education than kids of the same age raised here.

And since theis discussion has wandered into a bit of a liberal slant,, Blume has made a good point. Divide us,, and they will win. Or as it's been said for centuries; "Divide & conquer."

Have the words "You are welcome" been erased from the English language? It is bad enough to watch it in person but sometimes, well MOST of the time, I just want to slap the television.

If it gets to bad I'll turn to one of those reality type out door shows and THEN there is some dumbdonkey thanking a freaking dead squirrel.
