Just a question? A few months ago we were discussing a topic about .22 ammo being in short supply and how it was affecting the sales of guns. I mentioned in a post that it might be a good idea for gun manufacturers to include ammo. with the firearm. Don't know if any of y'all remember that but check this out.

I figure it is just coincidence but kind of cool. What do ya think? 8)

That was you? ...way to go Karl. :D :D

I'm sure lots of people at Ruger read this forum, some are probably members. How do you think we got the 44 special Flatops? There was a huge ground swell of public opinion for those guns mostly from this forum and Ruger obliged. I might add the big distributors like Lipsey's and Talo and Davidson's have listened also. :D :D

To answer the OP.
Yes, some of the folks at Ruger do visit us here sometimes.
Yes, they pay attention to realistic ideas, and observations.
No, they do not post, as company policy forbids it.
Smart people & companies do study what ANY market is saying about any product.
The entire industry is fully aware of the ammo issues.
Many people are not wanting to buy .22 cal guns because of ammo issues. Yet, it is slowly recovering. I'd say that Ruger has made a deal with a manufacturer to be able to receive ammo or a voucher for customers to receive the ammo.
Snide remarks about them not test firing their guns are likely ignored by the good folks at Ruger.

I am pretty sure they keep an eye on this forum. It only makes sense.
