Just don’t post your address with the locations.why in the world would i openly tell you on the internet about the location of my guns??
You have ED?My pet, ED does that for me. He ain't great on stairs though, but we're working on that.

I also have hide-holes in every room for small arms. Invisible ( built by me in some cases), and only I know that they exist.
I'm already looking for one of those xray guns that cops use for when my FIL passes. He likes to hide them behind walls and stuff.I would suggest you make a list of of the hiding places for a couple reasons: As you get older the memory gets a bit weak and in the event you pass away your family shouldn't have to play hid & seek to find all the firearms.
But they will get inside. Then what?Don't keep a loaded handgun easily accessible. I have followed the advice given to me decades ago. I was working all sorts of different shifts and my wife and kids were often alone at night. The advice came from my dad. It's so simple in it's wisdom. "Keep them outside".
While nothing is foolproof, you can do things that don't make your house look like a jail yet make it very, very hard to get inside.
DU ?Who in their right mind wouldn't keep one handy at night?
Ask the question over at DU and you'll get a far different response and likely a higher percentage of fibbers.
Not without a great deal of noise and physical destruction. By then I'll be wide awake and armed with something adequate to deal with the situation. Also, I should note my only ground level windows and doors are towards the front of my house. To get to the back you must pass through a long hallway. Odds of making to the rear of the house are slim and none. But they will get inside. Then what?
I am. You never know when you will pick up a new idea for a convenient gun keeping spot. Why not enquire of other gun loving Americans? They are who keeps America free, even if half the population does not want to be.“Do You Keep a Gun Handy At Night? Where Do You Keep It? Under Your Pillow? In a Drawer?”
You seem to be a very inquisitive person.

Nothing in the front of my house is worth my wife's or my life. But the dust bunnies under the couch are more valuable than the life of an intruder.
A strong magnet just might help.I'm already looking for one of those xray guns that cops use for when my FIL passes. He likes to hide them behind walls and stuff.
I am at that. But if you are concerned, do not post your address.“Do You Keep a Gun Handy At Night? Where Do You Keep It? Under Your Pillow? In a Drawer?”
