Do these internet "marketing geniuses" actually read what they write?

I get a hundred or more emails every day .... many of them seem to come from some political place but just about all are actually trying to sell me something... I usually just delete them with out even looking but somehow this one caught my eye.... here is the teaser that is supposed to get you to click on their bait:

"Because, according to a document from a secret gov't task force…
An upcoming strike on our country could put 9 out of 10 of us in coffins."

I put the important part in bold.... if 9 out of 10 of us are dead who the heck is going to be putting us in the coffins and where are these coffins going to come from?

I know it's silly and sorry for wasting y'alls time... it's just kind of humorous that we get this kind of stuff.....

That would be a great pitch for the Undertaker Academy or a Mortician Trade School or something of that sort.

Actually, if you think about it undertakers are one of the very few jobs that will always have customers. I think the IRS is the only other one.

They cannot afford proof readers anymore either. Ever since my 4th grade teacher appointed me to represent our class for a spelling bee, I have been highly cognizant of spelling errors whatever I am reading....

One my my biggest pet peeves is nonsensical advertisements.

There's a commercial on the radio about a brand of liquor. Narrator states it's the liquor to use in the making of a popular drink and there's only one way to make it (the drink) ... then lists four ways to make it.

Car companies are great at saying their truck or car is the only number one seller ... I guess a tie is possible but not likely.
