The rumor I read is they hope to spread AlphaGal to reduce meat production and get us all on GMO veggies.
I spray my clothes once a month or so with Permethrin. works well

Not a new idea though. The USA (operation big buss ordered by FDR), nazis, imperial japan bio weapons people made plans to use mosquitoes & fleas to spread diseases, yellow fever for example.

I treat my lawn with an Ortho product in pelletized form which is applied with my tow-behind fertilizer spreader. Only found one tick on the dog so far. Also put a flea/tick collar on her for a little added insurance.
I keep my lawn trimmed to 3” to try to keep the critters at bay.
One of my dogs had Lyme disease years ago and it would cripple him up pretty badly. The vet prescribed pills which had him back in form within a couple days. I’ve read some people’s lives have been devastated by the disease. I’m surprised I was never afflicted as I used to do a lot or pre-season scouting and tick bites are just a part of the game. I was always more worried about the timber rattlers which thrive in my favorite bow hunting spots.

Meh…I doubt it. While I don’t doubt the evil of Bill Gates I don’t see how this could be counted on to work and I think it would suck as a dispersal method.
You’re throwing this crap out into a 110 mph slipstream and hoping it works. And it’s likely a lot of people would talk or refuse to be in such a harebraned scheme. Crop dusters work because they deal with uniform chemicals that are easy to dispense and still have to be pretty close to the surface.
You’re also hiring pilots to essentially commit an act of bioterrorism against their own country. Which if found out not only ends their career but brands them as terrorist. While there certainly are drug running pilots, this is different and could hit THEM too. It’s like spraying anthrax. So the money thing wouldn’t enter into the equation. You’d have to find a genuine psycho pilot. Most wouldn’t do it at any price.
Moreover why not just disburse them on the ground ? Be a lot easier and less questions.

Fire ants LOVE ticks. If we ever get to the point that Bill Gates can influence the population of fire ants, well, then I'll start to worry.

FWIW tick bites can do some nasty things outside of this. Have 2 friends who’ve had really bad experiences; one being permanently disabled by encephalitis in the aftermath.
It IS preventable if caught early with prophylactic antibiotics so if one does get bit and gets the bullseye quick medical care can help prevent a bad situation.
