Custom exotic wood grips??????

Can anyone pass along the names of company's that make custom fingered exotic wood grips for gp100, redhawk, blackhawk, etd?

All suggestions would be welcome. I currently have rubber hogue grips on my gp100 but I saw a pair of really nice custom grips on a shooter but I have no idea who makes them.

The only company that I know that makes wood grips with finger cuts in so called exotic woods is Hogue. The selection is very limited. I would recomend that you check with the fine grip makers that are forum members. If you truly want one of a kind they are the way to go.

Jim Badger of Badger Custom Grips does great work. So does 41 Magnum on this site. Same for Private's Custom Grips.

Tim Perkes also makes some nice ones. I have two matching sets of his for my BH Falttops, out of Claro. He also custom contoured them. Just Google his name.

Aside from those already mentioned, Esmeralda also makes some truly gorgeous grips for the Ruger Blackhawk, New Vaquero and Bisley models (I'm not sure about the SBH). Your choice of exotic woods and checkering/carvings.

Excalibur makes some nice looking grips, as well as the easily found Hogue wood grips.

Joe Perkins at Outlaw grips does awesome work. His grips are not only beautiful, but he has different thickness profiles for different hands and end uses. I like his competition grip for lighter recoil SA's up to 44 mag, and his modified factory for anything larger than that. He does beveled or no bevel also. Top Notch and he requires you to send in your grip frame, wait time is around 6-7 weeks, and the grips will look like they grew on the grip frame.

Altamont (http://altamontco.com) makes some nice grips. I believe they supply the Cocobo grips for the Ruger Mark-III, too. I have four pair on various guns.
