If you could put a set on ANY of the P series pistols, which pistol would it be and why? Reason that I ask is because I came into a set of Laser Grips and cannot decide what P they belong on. Thoughts?

I'd have to go with a P89 or P90..
BTW AL I gave your name to a guy in the classifieds looking for a P89 magazine..
Have a look there & you'll see it..
I also gave him the link to your magazine thread & the old one with Coffee Pot's replies..

What do you want for the CTC LG389s?? Had to ask..
Congrats Al!!

BTW I sent the PMO out to you Monday priority for the magazines..
Thanks!!

I too was thinking P90 since they are so accurate. On the other end of the spectrum I was thinking P93DAO also in order to make up for the shorter sight radius and DAO trigger. I got the grips and when I went to put them on I was torn between which gun to put them on. They should be pretty sweet. I have them on other makes and models and like them quite a bit.

It would be hard to decide if I had several different guns them on..
Would love to see what they look like when you get them & have them mounted..
I've only seen them on CTCs website here..

Finally got around to posting some pics of the KP93DAO that I decided to put the grips on. Loaded this pistol with a Mecgar 17 round mag + 1 in the chamber of some good HP's and I like :)

Hi Al,
I just got a P93DAO and was wondering if you had more info to share.
Mine seems to be painted. I think Ruger calls it Target Gray?

I can't tell from the posted pic is your painted or just standard stainless slide?

Thanks,

Yours has the REM finish. I have only standard SS Ruger's, I don't have any REM guns. If I remember right it is actually a finish that is produced by tumbling parts in the REM media/chemical. So it is smooth as butter. Pics for everyone? I adjusted the CTC to match the irons at about 15 yards so I should be close enough for house work. CTC was gracious enough to send me a bag of 4 adjustment wrenches for free which I thought was swell. One of these days I will make it out to try. Enjoy the 93 they are great pistols!

I'll try to make time to post a pic but with two little ones running around I focus more on their playtime instead of mine.

It does look good in my opinion but I never saw it before. I was told it was stainless when I bid on it. Is this like blue and will wear off or how should I take care of this? Any pointers? I know you said you don't have any but you have a lot of "P" Knowledge.

It is SS and if you look close the sharp edges have been smoothed off. I do not believe it will wear off as it is just the SS chemically polished. Seems it would not wear off unless scratched deeply. Again, I dont own any just going off of what I have read. Pics?
