I have been looking into the hi-tec bullet and am wondering who makes them. I did a google and MBC does but did not find any others. Does anyone know of others ? Thanks.

I have been shooting Berry Bullets in the handguns with good results. Powder coated bullets work well for me too. 8)

I get mine from Bayou Bullets. They use the Hi-tec coating according to their website. Has been a good supplier for me.
My first experience with coated bullets was with Precision Bullets http://precisionbullets.com/. I used about 1,000 in my 45 ACP and 9mm. Good bullets...
I have since PCed a bunch of my own, tried some PCed from Bayou and Missouri bullets, but have gone back to my home cast bullets (I've worked out any barrel leading long ago, and have developed some good loads for all my pistols/revolvers.).

Thanks for the information. I buy from MBC but wondering if there was something different like a WFN in 250gr and coated, nothing that I could find.

Monmouth Reloading (http://www.monmouthreloading.com/) sells Shooters Precision Products (http://shootersbullets.com/) coated bullets. I found that both places had excellent prices and both were good to deal with; my order went to Monmouth because they carried smaller quantities and I wanted to buy a variety.
To illustrate their customer service, (1) the package was at my house within a week and (2) when I notified Monmouth that I had received a package of mislabeled .44 bullets instead of the .41 bullets I ordered, I had a new box of .41 bullets at no questions or cost within a few days directly from Shooters Precision Products, their supplier.
If anyone wants to try out the coated .44s, I would gladly ship 50 or so out to a few interested parties to pay it forward since I now have twice as many as I'll use in the foreseeable future.
My other bullet go-to, Mastercast Bullets (http://mastercastbullets.com/) also sells coated bullets. Like the others, their prices and service are excellent. Their selection of rifle bullets is better than the others, as well as stocking a few other pistol types.

The current issue of Handloader has an article by Charlie Petty where he shoots a whole bunch of different coated bullets. Spoiler alert: They all shot pretty well, and pretty much the same. After reading that story, I'd pick amongst them on price alone.

I've been sold on powder coated bullets for a few years now. I cast my own & I P/C them as well. Well worth it to me.
I have and have used dozens of bullet types with many different types of lube from almost every manufacturer out there.
Currently, I buy Cast from a private who offers an option of LOX coated. They are the ugliest bullet I have ever seen. They shoot the best groups by far of anything I have ever tried. Accurate and clean at $.05 each, what's not to like. 38, 357, 44
