Can't make this up. Really sad but who does this. I was looking for alcohol or something involved.
I am blaming it on my age... but I have come to the conclusion that people and I mean just about everyone in the human race is stupid, me included.
There is some kind of cosmic joke in all this. We think we have evolved into this super intelligent life form and the reality is we are at the best probably semi-intelligent.
We will one day manage to destroy ourselves and a hundred million years or more from now the Aliens will come back by and collect a core sample of the Earth to look at its history.
What they will find is a little slice, probably 1/8 - 1/4" thick that was us... a combination of plastic and radiation with a lot of other chemicals mixed in.
And they will just say, "yep, here is another planet that about about the age of 2 billion trips around its Sun a semi-intelligent life form developed for a couple thousand years and eventually destroyed itself."
Here is one of my examples of my stupidity:

the hole was made with a Ruger P95 from about 20-25ft away and there was an open flame beside the bottle when I shot it.
I keep this to try and remind me that you are never too old to do something really stupid.
Yep, see that all the time at the Red River Gorge . . . and a handful of folks die that way every year."Let's climb over the safety rail so we can get a selfie at the very edge of the cliff."
I feel bad for their families. Such a stupid way to die.Yep, see that all the time at the Red River Gorge . . . and a handful of folks die that way every year.![]()
Enigma,Somewhere I have some very graphic photos of the result of a young man who put a lit M80/Cherry Bomb/something in his mouth to demonstrate how 'tough' he was. He did not survive the detonation.
Old joke about a particular pizza brand, was like justin wilson's poule duce recipe ; open pizza box, remove pizza, discard pizza, eat box.How about the warning on the pizza box that says "Remove pizza from box before eating."
Was a great joke, until the logic of the backstory comes up; half as many parts to keep in stock!Braille on a drive through ATM gets me....
Best braille sign ever. On uninsulated steam line. Danger hot. Do not touch.Braille on a drive through ATM gets me....
What? No fuel oil to go with it?Yes, we were supposed to be taught not to do things... I still remember the day my father walked into our garage and saw what I was doing.
There was a 50lb or more solid block of Fertilizer, Ammonium Nitrate, that had been sitting over in the corner for years and I was melting it with an acetylene torch....
that was one of my lives I think I used up.
Behind all of these there is a grieving family and friends. I wonder about the people with him who didn't stop him. Big guilt trip I bet.I feel bad for their families. Such a stupid way to die.
My brother worked for Martin Marietta as an engineer. They would get a periodical about product law suits. One of the cases was a man had an electric law mower. Rotary type. He picked up the mower to trim the hedges and lost most of his fingers. He sued and one because there was not a warning to not do that.Like Frank,, as I grew up,, warnings weren't all over the place because we were TAUGHT about things that could hurt us. Lawyers made them put warnings on stuff. Stupid people who weren't raised right,, well, could discuss that for years.
Naked people ironing. The last one my brother was at Florida institute of Technology. One of the kids in the school was a super techie. He even had a shirt made to look like a Star Trek uniform. Thought he would get in the commercial dryer in the dorm to simulate astronaut testing. Came out sick barfed on a lot of other guys clean cloths. He never mention him again.Old joke; why does the english part of international/multilingual instructions take up so much more space than all the others combined? We have more lawyers.
Idiots need to be told;
Please to the child removing before folding of the stroller.
Warning caution! Taking off of the clothes before the ironing!
Keeping children and pets from inside the washingmachine dryer, this is not for the toy!
