I noticed the grease or wax paper is leaving a film on a bleud single six . I was wondering what is the best way to gingerly clean it off & which solution to use ? It has been in there since ( 1965 ) Thanks .
Hoppe's #9 will safely remove most varieties of sticky gunk. Wipe it down with an oily rag afterwards... or give it a liberal shot of CLP and a wipedown with a clean rag.
Thanks for the input . I would really hate to mess up a mint gun . Because that gun is going to pay for my daughters wedding & Mcdonalds reception dinner when she turns 50. :twisted:
