CLEANING QUESTION

Has anyone used the small ultrasonic jewelry cleaner for initial cleaning before the solvents?

Am thinking of the bolt, spring etc

Seems to be an easy prep before lube

I know several folks that use sonic cleaner to clean gun parts.

I’ve used an ultrasonic brass cleaner to clean a couple of police trade in Glocks. Works well. Just use caution with aluminum gun parts, as certain solvents have a reputation for badly damaging aluminum in ultrasonic cleaners. I think Simple Green was one that was blamed.
