It needed to be started and driven a little. I'm driving either it or the 2002 Trans Am to Dayton Ohio in a week for the Trans Am Nationals. It makes me feel young... until I try to get out after a drive!!!

That '77 is one beautiful ride!
Good friend of mine had one a bit older in Clemson orange back in the day.... in fact back in about '74 we drove it from here in S.C. to Fort Worth Texas and brought back 12 cases of Coors beer, I should have sued Burt Reynolds for stealing the idea from us...but then my buddy did not look like Burt and I for sure don't look like Sally Fields..

Strangely enough- the state has a commission to review personalized plates to look for hidden offensive or vulgar meanings. They contacted me questioning the reason for Coors. The guy was a young feller. I asked if he'd ever seen Smokey & the Bandit. He hadn't. I explained the movie to him and he approved it. No idea why Coors could be considered either an offensive term or a great beer lol

Had to laugh at your comment on feeling "cool" until you try to get out. I remember driving up to a place in my Jeep, with my shades on and feeling cool. Add to this that there was a very attractive woman standing nearby, so I really wanted to do this right. So, I pulled up and parked and then when I got out, the arthritis in my left knee was screaming and I hobbled to the curb. At that point I just wanted to get inside and disappear. Ha.

Sorry, guys. I actually thought that the apostrophe in front of the 77 in the title was a dead giveaway.
Still looking for original wheels for my '78 LTD II. They were at the time an oddball size. I replaced them and foolishly just gave them to the shop.
Even with popular cars it can be hard to maintain them as original as possible. Gets harder every year.
