Chronied my Mk 2 6 7/8 barrel

Got my old Mk 2 out the other day and put some Aquila hyper vel in it and ran it through the chrony...I was surpprised to get a little over 1400 fps out of it. Somehow I wasn't expecting that much. I got 950 fps with the regular 36 gn Federal. Also got around 1400 fps with some CCI stingers.....just thought you might find this somewhat interesting.

Wowee. That's impressive. If you have numbers for different ammo, could you please post them? I often wonder what kind of velocities I'm getting out of my 6 7/8" Mk III vs. the stated FPS on the ammo pack. Thank you.

They only one I have to clock are the ones i've mentioned with the Aquila and the stingers being very close...and those two really go "bang" out of that pistol. I actually got 950 fps with the Aquila out of an old RG snubbie which surprised me as well considering it being such a short barrel.
