We have all seen the high quality of Mike DOC Barranti's leather works. A while back he was doing some art work in leather that looked like some old men that we all knew. I did one of Mike himself and had it posted as a copy on my leather work. In talking to Mike about the leather that he had made around a jug of hooch, he said that I should try to copy that as well. I did just that during the last cold spell, (Dec and Jan). I sent him a picture of the finished product a few days ago. I did not have any basket weave or fish scale to put on it. I did put a handle on it to use when he is working on his leather. The handle is long enough to go around his neck so the hooch don't get in his way while working.

Now, I don't even try to compare my work with Mike's, but it is serviceable. If he starts sewing some stitches that wobble, we will know that he is using the bottle holder (holster) that I sent to him. I should think that he will want to post a picture of him wearing it so we can all see how it fits. NOTICE: I have had the bottle for over 30 years and the seal is not broken. I just hope that he don't stamp it on the back with his corporate leather stamp and try beating me out of the royalties.

Thank you for all you do with leather for us. Keep working. Steve
