BX 25 Mag Failure?

I found this by accident on youtube regarding a failure of the Ruger BX-25 magazine. Has this been discussed here?

He returned the magazine to Cabellas and got a refund. I would be interested on Ruger's explanation.

I would not be too concerned, bound to be a problem every now and then when there are thousands of these mags out there.

I've been using a couple of them with no problem.

Saw some 'hot lips' plastic lip models on sale for $12.95 yesterday, 1/2 of the local BX 25 cost.

Given my unhappy experience with Ram plastic mags a few decades back, I'm not a fan of plastic magazines even now.
