Buying things on line

I'm an Ebay junkie. When I run out of things to buy I get stuff for my son and girlfriend.

SGAmmo, Target Sports USA. And some years, maybe an occasional Midway or Numrich for spare parts. That's about it for me.....No use for a Hawaiian shirt. They just ain't my thing.LOL.

Yeah, i havent bought another one since. That project sank in the west as the sun pulled away from the pier.
But gunparts and thingies! Ongoing, and not a transient project.

If Walmart nor The Home Depot have it in stock, I have a 40 minute one-way drive to get it so we order a lot online.

My dad really enjoyed buying items on line, primarily items for his firearms. For his 100th I gave pop a 30/40 Krag. He immediately went on line and bought a spare bolt and everything needed to reload.

When I gave him a cap n ball pistol he went and bought 3 spare cylinders.

I think this is why my mom will buy multiples of an item she likes.

Buying online is almost a necessity, or at least it seems like it. Here in town there’s an Ace Hardware, a gun and drug store, a small Napa, and a grocery store. But for most other stuff it’s a trip to Medford or Grants Pass, and that’s $12–$20 dollars in gas minimum. Then there’s driving to multiple stores just to not find what you were looking for. Or if you do find it, you look online and it’s a ton cheaper with free shipping.

Most firearm accessories have to be ordered online, unless it is something for an AR or a Glock. And anything firearm tool related is online.

But simple stuff is the same way. I was looking for another pair of Carhartt utility jeans. Carhartt store- nope, nothing in my size. Same with 3 western wear stores, Coastal Ranch, Grange Co-Op, Blackbird Ace, Sportsman’s Warehouse and Tractor Supply. Now if I was of less stature, shall we say, I would be in luck. 6’2”, 290 lbs, 42x34. Yep- a dinosaur and built like one.

I guess that’s the biggest reason for online shopping. By the time you’ve found what you need at a brick and mortar, you've spent way more in gas, time, and probably price than what it sells for online with free shipping.

Any of you ever go on a buying frenzy on line . Well it's summer is coming and to me summer is about wearing Hawaiian shirts so I got my 5th one on Amazon in two weeks I need to stop

I am exactly the same regarding Hawaiian shirts and have a closet full. Then again, I wear sandals through all four seasons, so Summer never really goes away for me.
